In my wisdom I'd told the kids they could use the back garage as a club house. Wish I'd left that one as a summer project-the first few days of the holidays was spent clearing and painting the club house. I basically gave them the paint and brushes and then left them to it. They were loving having their own space, however since a cat got in and left it's mark they aren't soo keen!

We had some really hot weather so we were making good use of the garden. Since the patio had come up there was a rather large sand pit for them to enjoy. After Aimee had been pestering me all day she got to have a water fight.
We had the chimneys swept which the kids loved, especially as the guy looked like he'd just stepped out of Mary Poppins!
We also had time to make some Easter cards to send to Grandma.
The downstairs toilet is now functioning, we still need to do the floor but it's all but finished now. Our "postcards" we bought on our holiday to France last year now have pride of place on the wall!
