So yet another New Year, starting to feel old when all I wanted to do was stay in and struggled to stay awake. The last few months catching up on me I think.
Well, the other day we had a surprise visit from our friends down south. It was great to see them and another excuse to have a fire. This is our new living room, the only room to be finished for Christmas, but the best!

This is the view from our bedroom this morning. I love how everything looks when it snows, so peaceful-unlike inside our house!
